The Canadian National Institute of Health has received Ministry Approval for a first-discipline, Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. The Sonography program is a 20-month program that trains students to perform abdominal, pelvic, vascular, obstetrics and gynecological ultrasound imaging. Students can enter into this program directly from high school as long as they have the prerequisites in english, math, biology and physics. The program curriculum provides lots of opportunity for hands-on learning in our state-of-the-art labs and 8 months of clinical placements.
